# Image credits

All images in this directory are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under
open licenses and are self-hosted here (not hotlinked). None depict
Wagfield Dog Care, its staff, or any real customer — this is a demo
site (see the banner on every page). `hand-paw.jpg` is the one file
showing part of a person: only a hand, never a face, so no real
individual is depicted or implied to be Wagfield's owner or staff.

`daycare-group.jpg` is cropped to its left ~62% (removing a cat and a
burned-in camera date-stamp visible in the original photo's right side) —
both dogs remain fully in frame. `hero-dog.jpg` and `portrait-closeup.jpg`
are CC BY 2.0, which requires attribution: credited to their listed authors
above, with a link to the original file and to the CC BY 2.0 license terms
(https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/).

Downloaded from Wikimedia Commons, then resized (only where the source
exceeded its target display width — see the implementation plan, Task 3)
and re-compressed with `sips` for web delivery. The versions here are
not bit-identical to the Commons originals.
